Rallying returns to world famous stages and we need your help!

NBGRAfter a long break the LCC (spear-headed by Wendy Walker and Kirsty Percival-Moore), is bringing rallying back to Boddington. Known as the Newmont Boddington Gold Rally, the event will run on the Foundation Day long weekend using special stages made world famous by Rally Australia.

Many are very excited to be returning to the famous jumps and water splash of the ex-Bunnings Plantation which was last used for Motorsport by the LCC in 2006.

On Saturday the 31st of May, the state championship side will kick off with two late afternoon Super Special spectator stages down the jumps and through the water splash. On Sunday the 1st of June, Clubman Cup entries will join the state field, competing on the gravel roads of the plantation and visiting the spectacular jumps and water splash twice more during the day.

Wendy and Kirsty have worked hard with Newmont Boddington Gold Mine, Saddleback Tree Farms, and the Shire of Boddington to put the event together. It is now vital, that we have the human resources to make the event safe and successful.

The LCC is in need of volunteer officials to help out with the event.

We are looking for road closure and spectator marshals on the weekend as well as any assistance on Friday to help with setting up the stages and service park.

If you or anyone you know is available on any or all days from Friday the 30th of May to Sunday the 1st of June, please contact us.
